It's my first shot at a fanfic, and I thought this was a good idea. No matter how improbable.

Aang, Sokka, Toph and Katara were setting up camp in a clearing by a woodland path, every thing seemed peaceful. But then again, it never was. An odd gray mist was rising out of the ground, “Guys, someone is coming, but I don’t know who it is.” Toph said. “They’re making everything blurry and I can’t focus my vision.”
Suddenly the mist rose up to eye level, and Aang could feel himself being thrown into the Spirit World. The clearing was farther and farther away, and so was every one else. As he hurtled through the black nothing-ness that surrounded him, Aang heard a chuckle that sounded like a rockslide. He looked around, “Who’s there? Show yourself!” And lo, like a punch Aang never saw coming, a large grand bed chamber stood in front of him. “Over here, Avatar Aang.” said the rockslide voice. Aang turned, and faced the extravagant bed chamber. It had a color scheme of various shades of green, gems and stones adorned the walls, carved with various murals and symbols, and as Aang turned to face the owner of the voice, he saw a large ornate balcony, where what looked like an exotic garden on it. “We’ll take a tour of the garden later, Avatar Aang.” The voice said. Aang tore his eyes away from the garden, and turned and finally faced the voice. The owner was a girl, of about thirteen, she looked totally ordinary, brown hair, pale skin, a lot of freckles, a thin frame, simple clothes, except her eyes. Dark green eyes, that seemed to glow. When Aang looked into them, he felt as if he were watching the Earth, as if the eyes were speaking to him, and telling him volumes, of tragedy and celebration, and how the Earth weathered it all. “I am Xantara…” She began. “The Earth Spirit!” Aang cried.
Sokka hit the ground with a thud. “Aang? Toph? Katara? Where are you?” There was no reply. “I might as well look around.” He said to no one in particular. It looked like he was on a plateau of some sort. But his vision was blocked by a large pair of boots attached to some legs that were in turn attached to a woman of about thirty. She looked dangerous, especially with the large sword in her hand. “Uh, I’m Sokka. Please don’t hurt me.” He said, slowly standing up. “You’re from the physical world.” She said, her voice seemed to crackle like a camp fire. “The physical world?” asked an old man, his voice crackled too.
“Yes, Hakan.” The woman said.
“This is Xantara’s work for sure Ha.” The old man said.
Sokka looked the two over, the old man; Hakan had on a rather extravagant robe of orange, black, red with blue trim. He had a salt and pepper beard and hair, with golden eyes. Ha however, was wearing a simple outfit of reddish armor, she had black hair with some gray streaks in it, and she had the same golden eyes.
“We will have to have a talk with her.” Ha told him.
Hakan looked at Sokka. “I am sorry that we were not properly introduced, young Sokka. I am Hakan the Fire Spirit, and this is my twin sister, Ha, the Sun spirit.”
